Not only can you enjoy your overpriced meal, but you can also snag some fantastic photos with characters—if you’re not too star-struck to remember to take the pictures! Just a heads up: avoid getting too attached to the characters. They aren’t real people, and no amount of love for Mickey Mouse is going to earn you a hug. Unless, of course, you’ve got a plushie with you.

At the end of the day, Disney World is all about having fun, even if the crowds test your patience. Embrace the chaos, laugh off the mishaps, and cherish the joyous moments. When the day is done, and you find yourself exhausted but smiling, remember: you’re one day closer to fulfilling childhood dreams, even if they cost more than your last vacation.
